Hi: June 2013 I had the good fortune of finding your web site. I ordered hearing aids that were better than the ones recommended by the Audiologist who had quoted 4,500.00 Canadian less 900.00 government rebate for a total of 3,600.00 Canadian for 2 hearing aids. My final costs after the exchange adjustment was just over 1,500.00 Canadian. Twice I had a problem with the left hearing aid that I sent to Tucson for repair and was impressed with the final results. I have recommended this company to many people. I am unhappy with these hearing aids from Century. After wearing them for an extended period of time I am unable to hear well in a crowded environment, they are okay in my home with only a few people talking and the batteries do not last long.

I am Dave Brown's wife. I am the one who has the hearing aids. I am fairly happy with my hearing aids. They are a little big for my ears. I should have gotten the smallest version. Also I hear what is going on behind better than what is in front of me if there are a lot of noise sources. I do like being able to hear conversations better but still miss some things. Jon: Had my Century Hearing Aids about 3-4 months. Very pleased with them so far. One-third the price of previous instruments! I could use a few more "ear tips" or whatever you call them. Also, should I send them back after a year or so for cleaning, etc.? Please advise. Thanks, Mike Lamade
Ilike my last hearing aids better than the ones I had before. They don't restore my hearing to perfect but there are none out there that will. I am satisfied with the ones I now have and they were several thousand dollars cheaper. How much are batteries? Thanks Terry
I am not good at righting anything, I use the "hunt and Peck " system. But I could not have found any place that was any better, for return, or help or for that matter, a better aid, and I have a box with four other kinds of aids in it. They just don't measure up to this one. I just have the one, because I am totally deaf in my left ear. I DO like the personal service' and the product.
Love my new hearing aid , Zylo4 behind the ear hearing aid. Most importantly I can hear much better with my new hearing aid. The construction seems of higher quality than I've had in other hearing aids. Very importantly it is very comfortable to wear' I had never had behind the ear hearing aid and was concerned how I would like it. I love it. Its very comfortable and easy to adjust. Nobody has noticed them...None of my drinking buddies. I had to ask them do you see my aid - they said I did know you had them...I love them. I wear them from 7am in the morning to 7:30 at night. Battery lasted 12 days. Wind is blowing at 40mph here in Tennessee and its not bothering them at all. I would not give them up for $5000. Its opened a whole new world for me. As soon as I got them I put them in and have not taken them out- except when I sleep. Thank you. just fantastic.

I am finally getting around to writing you folks to let you know how much I appreciate the cooperation and service I have experienced these past few years of wearing your Century behind the ear hearing aids. Based on my past experience of wearing in the the ear hearing aids and being sorely disappointed in every aspect, especially the ridiculous cost, I was hesitant to purchase more hearing aids even though I was acutely aware of the need. After seeing and evaluating your internet advertising I was especially attracted by your one year warranty and 60 day return policy. I have never regretted purchasing my Rosebud Open fit hearing aids. They have worked great since purchase almost three years ago. Keep up the good work!
I am extremely pleased with the Xylo 4 aids that you sent me, and I have already told some other people about how pleased I am with them. They are a big improvement over the earlier Rosebud aid that I was wearing (and still have on reserve). I was pleasantly surprised at the improvements in sound quality, lack of feedback squeals, directionality. telicoil improvement for phone use. One of the noticeable improvements in sound quality is that I can not tell the difference in sound quality between having the aids in and when they are out - except that I hear much better with the aids in. My guess is that you must have tuned them to more precisely amplify my areas of loss so that I am not having unneeded amplification in the hearing zones where I have little loss. With the old aid probably because it did not match my areas of loss as precisely, some zones were probably over amplified making for a less natural overall sound than with the better tuned Xylo 4 aids - Any way, I will send you a better more complete reference next week. - Thanks, again, Jon, for your great help.

The quality of the hearing aid - I only need one - purchased from Century is exceeded only by the superb service Jon provides. I live in a small rural town served by several audiologists who are here a few days each week. I like to support local firms but found their service slow and prices very high. After researching my options about a year ago I decided to try Century's product. I have been very pleased. The price is the lowest I have found. The hearing aid has been very reliable and meets my need perfectly. I have required minor replacement parts a couple of times due to normal wear; they arrive promptly after I place my order. Jon runs a reliable and honest business. You will not be disappointed.
I am still wearing the hearing aid I bought from you, along with the Widex. I recently, foolishly bought a pair of Siemen's on E-Bay from a nice young man who gave me thirty days to return. I thought they were great, but after having them adjusted here, I don't like them. Too big and heavy. I think the Rosebud is great. I know my audiologist doesn't, but I am wearing it, not her. What I do is wear only one most of the time, unless I need to hear clearly. When I wear two, I feel all stuffed up. The E.N.T.'s say when you have the sudden hearing loss, that sometimes happens. I still cannot listen to music, but have found a couple of cds of piano music that don't sound too distorted.
I do tell my friends about you. People here don't trust online products the way I do. I buy things from Land's End, because even with duties, you can always return things.. Another problem for us is when we need adjustments. Do we just send back to you? Also we will have to pay duty on that too.
One thing I love about the Rosebud is the ease to change the channel and sound level.
My Rosebud hearing aids seem to perform fairly satisfactory but it would be nice to have a little more amplitude. I can't seem to adjust them with the clicker arm on top. At one time my left ear would squeal when I brought my wrist close to it (Wristwatch, I guess) but now it doesn't squeal or amplify as much. hi jon, i,m very happy with my hearing aids i purchased from century. my first aid - just one - that i purchased from an audiologist cost me $1700 , with free hearing test that i'm not sure i needed, i knew i didn't hear well, didn't work any better than than the ones i bought from you and didn't have volume control or 4 channel features that yours have at " one fifth " the cost. thanks, steve c.
Jon, Love my hearing aids. I was particularly impressed with the super fast customer service request to change one of the aids to make them absolutely perfect. they are so comfortable that I forget they're in my ear, (have slept with them on twice).

I love my Rosebud Premium behind the ear hearing aids. They are smaller and way more comfortable than my old ones! I've had ear molded aids ($2500 EACH), VERY inexpensive internet behind the ear aids (bulky and uncomfortable) and now these (inexpensive, comfortable and work great).
The very best part is the service! You treated me as if I were your most important customer ever! I really appreciated all the extra effort to get them to me while on vacation! Your continued research and emails keep me informed and offer support when I sometimes think I'm the only hearing impaired person around. The tips on better communication are welcomed and looked forward to.

Jon, First off, I want to thank you for the prompt service I received in exchanging the hearing aids for a more compatible color that matches my hair. The Rosebud hearing aids I received are a great value for the price. I'm still experiencing hearing problems but don't think any hearing aid would help. If you want a basic aid that primarily amplifies sound the Rosebud will work and the 4 levels seem to help, although I still have difficulty in a crowded room. I would rate them 4 stars, and possibly 5 for mild hearing loss. Bill
I know it's been some time since I received my aid, but I have been busy,(doing nothing) I'm retired and have seen 91 years) Either way, I am very well satisfied with this one, I am trying to find out which batteries is the best and last the longest, I keep a log as to when I put it in, by the minuet, and when I take it out. I very much like the way I can choose the volume and the noise. It is some what larger than the previous one, but, you know what, after about half a minuet, I can't tell what size it is. I have learned to run the cleaner wire thru the tube, when I change batteries. One thing I think is a little odd, is that you can pick the color you want, to kind of match your skin color, then they put a bright chrome strip all along the back side, I guess it's so people can see you are wearing an aid. just something to smile about. I have been through 3 rounds and thousands of dollars of "ear plug style" aids - that didn't work as good - and leave your ears completely plugged when the battery goes out. These were the same as the type I tried out at Sams Club - and less than half the price - and work just the same - great deal! It is so nice not to say "huh?" all the time!
I suffered, what to me felt like, a dramatic hearing loss as a result of Menigitis. I literally woke up from a medically induced coma with no hearing in my right ear and substantially less hearing in my left ear. Over the next week or so I regained some of my hearing in both ears, but not full restoration. I then when through a number of hearing tests and was able to get some trial hearing aids from the audiologist at my Ear Nose and Throat doctor. She had my try several units costing $2,600 an ear. They had all sorts fancy features and processing modes. These hearing aids did help, but not to level I would expect for the price. I then worked with Jon via chat and determined that th Rosebud Premuim Open Fit would be good starting model. Despite not sitting next to me as the audiologist at my ENT had, Jon was able to get them programmed to provide a much better level of hearing restoration. For signicantly less money I was able get much better results. I really like the extreme noise mode for large venues...it isolates the background conversations much better than the fancy expensive units I tried. I gave ths 4 stars as opposed to five because of the feedback when I go to hug someone or I put my hand near my ear and that in extreme noise mode that fluorescent lights cause a buzzing. I was told by Jon that he can make some adjustments to improve the buzzing, but at this point after several months I have come to depend on them so much and the times that it actually has been problematic that it is not worth shipping the back for programming.
I certainly tell everyone I know who has problems hearing about the great hearing aids I got from you at the great price. Way less than half what I'd pay here in Canada and great quality. Thanks. Terry LeBlanc

I run the sound equipment at our church, and yesterday a.m. I noticed that I could hear the singers conversing up front, between practice numbers and w/o their mics, and I understood what they were saying! I began my quest for aids at an audiologist. He advertised very low prices. After a hearing test, he thought his lowest priced model, at $2800.00 per pair, wouldn't fix my loss. I needed to go up to a more expensive model. Instead, I researched the offerings on the internet, and chose Century. After all, I could return them within 60 days for a refund if I didn't like them.
My wife, Tucky, can tell you how pleased I am with these Rosebuds. (And she is happy that I can understand her normal voice!) The classy modern styling is only the frosting on the cake! They restored the frequencies I have been missing for a long time, and I have started to listen to my classical music records again. I was thrilled to hear overtones around the high violin notes! And, I didn't expect any aids to work well for loud, complex music!
The service I received from the Century people has been outstanding! Excelent communication and much time spent getting the programming to my satisfaction. By the second day, I was adjusted to them, and I don't feel the soft tips in my ears, or the little cases behind. I have never heard feedback from them, even pressing a telephone to my ear. *****

Have had the hearing aids for awhile now and except for not knowing how to adjust the sound level, found out by trial and erroe, they work great. When i put them on i hafto click the voluume lever 10 times for the left and 12 for the right. You gave me a great bargan and I just thought i'd thank you.
I am single sided hearing, I placed a hearing aide in my right ear and found that I was able to hear more clearly and understand words completely without having to guess at what had been said. I am a professional person, and I collect information from our clients. Clear hearing is a must. This aide has helped that process tremendously. The price was great and the quality is extremely good. I would rate this entire purchase experience with 5 stars.
The Rosebud hearing aids are by far the best hearing aids I have had. They are comfortable so I wear them longer. The batteries last twice as long as the #10 batteries called for by my past aids. I have been very happy with my new hearing aids. The biggest difference I have noticed is that I can now hear conversations in a small group setting that previously had left me wishing people would speak up. I had dreaded getting hearing aids because I had heard only dissatisfaction from those who wore them, so it has been a tremendous relief to be satisfied.
These are my first hearing aids so I have no personal comparisons to offer.
The Rosebud/Audition hearing aids are working just fine. I have gotten so I don't even know I am wearing them. I have to remember when I take a shower. these are the first hearing aids I have used. I saved a bunch of money on them..Other hearing aids I checked were over twice the amount of money. I also liked the way I was helped when I bought them. Jon was very helpful.
I Have had my Rosebuds(in both ears )for 3 weeks now and am adapting to them quite nicely.its the first time I have ever worn them and it will take awhile to get used to them. When driving on the highway I find the road noise so bad that I have to turn them down.however this does not create any problem. I find the battery life is a little shorter than I expected,at 14 hours per day the batteries last 8 days.I even tried a local battery(Ray-0-Vac) and it lasted the same. All in all,I am satisfied with the Rosebuds,and the price was fine,considering that a comparible hearing aid in Canada would be priced at $1900.00.
WOW! I have been wearing these hearing aids for three weeks now and they are terrific! I have been systematically testing them in a variety of situations. At first I was a bit jumpy because I was being startled by sounds I had been missing. I'm getting used to them now. I was thrilled to be able to focus on conversation in a noisy restaurant. I am not guessing at dialogue on TV anymore. I can hear the birds and the rain. But the most frightening confirmation of their worth was when I A/B'd them by pulling them in and out of my ears while playing Rock music. I am rediscovering guitar solos and mixes no longer sound muddy!
When they first arrived I took several day to get used to them. I noticed a problem with the right one. It needed some tweaking. I contacted Century Hearing Aids and got a prompt reply. I could not believe how fast the turn around time was! Excellent customer service! Thanks Jon!
I like 'em okay. A little tough to get used to, and I still can't find the right ear plugs. However, the wife and family like the idea that they don't have to repeat themselves as ofter as they used to. And I get a lot more out of TV than I did before. So, all and all, I'd give 'em four or five stars. Oh, and going to the movies is much better. I would however, like the batteries to last longer. Sorry, don't have the equipment to send a video, I'm way too old to start monkeying around with that stuff.
Ahoy: Jon, thank you so much for my new aids. I had not replaced my aids for eighteen years, and thought that I couldn't get any better sound than what I was already "enjoying". What a pleasant surprise it was to put my new rosebud behind the ear minis into use yesterday. All I can say is "wow" ... I cannot believe the difference these new aids are making to what I am able to hear! Five manual volume controls, four different settings for environment...lots of choice to make it easy to hear everything I want to hear. I am very pleased, and this is only after a few short hours of wearing them.
I have had these for a few weeks. I have no issues but questions. Since day 1 I have had them in for 5 - 6 hours daily and have quickly increased to a full day with no discomfort. I am able to lower the TV volume and hear others, especially women much clearer. The aids need to be turned up and I find that the new sounds are statling, especially behind me. I need to get used to all that I missed. Hearing aids are not a replacement for true hearing, so I am find, I still need to ask people to repeat themselves, but it is much much less than before the aids. I also am having a tough time determining if sounds are really that loud or are the aids turned up too loud. But these are keepers for sure. Also, my wife didn't know I had them on for 2 days. She thought the tubes were gray hairs. Audiologist wanted over 5k for their devices. Battery life is at about 2 weeks.
I am very pleased. I can hear real well. Sometimes I go into store and kids scream and I have to turn down volume. Or I watch TV with them and then son comes into room and it sounds like he is screaming at me. He can now talk at normal level.
Following your recommendation I changed the tip of my hearing aids to a next larger size. With the devices, I receive three additional tip sizes. There was a new coffee pot that gives a signal with a sound I was not able to hear. With program 2 I was able to hear it. Blessed be the Lord.
Ahoy: I had put off buying new hearing aids for many years, even though I knew that I needed them - mainly due to the reaction of the people around me, particularly when they were trying to make themselves understood to me.
I finally decided to get an audiology exam - and found that my hearing had changed drastically since my initial purchase of in the canal aids from our government hearing aid plan. (It was eighteen years ago I last had an audiology report, and bought my aids).
When I found how much the new aids were going to cost me, even though I have some coverage for aids in my health plan, I balked, and decided I simply could not afford to upgrade to better aids.
I remembered looking at the internet, and what might be available to me online. I decided to contact Century Hearing Aids, and was pleasantly surprised to be dealing directly with the owner. I was even more happy when I was told that I could get new aids for less than half the price of new aids from two different providers where I live ... one of them government, and the other a private firm.
All I had to do was send Jon my audiologist's report (via fax in my case), and the aids were ordered and on the way.
I am very pleased and satisfied with the service, the aids themselves, and the continuing contact from Century Hearing Aids to keep me up to date on what is new in the industry.
I have recommended Century Hearing Aids to many of my friends and relatives, and will continue to do so.
It is wonderful to be able to sit in the back yard and hear birds - something I hadn't been able to do for years. It is wonderful to ask others to adjust the volume level down on electronic devices - for now they are frequently too loud for my "super ears". Just wanted to let you know that I am very pleased with my hearing aids. However, I do have on question. I've noticed that the hearing aid in the right ear will squeal when I get my head close to any object or put my hand near my ear. This does not happen with the aid in the left ear. Is this a normal thing? Thanks for your reply.
I bought the Rosebud Hearing Aid approximately one year ago. I will rate it as 5 stars for my use. I can't rate it for price as this is my first hearing aid but I did a lot of research before I purchased one. I am an RN and am board-certified in occupational health and am CAOHC certified for hearing. I have had my hearing tested many times with this program so knew what my needs were. The hearing aid I chose has done a very good job for me. It is comfortable and easy to use.

My first pair of hearing aids cost over 5,000$......my new ones from Century were 1600$......there is no comparison in terms of performance.....my new ones are much, much better. The follow up service has been excellent.......learning about hearing aids is expensive the way I did. My experience with Jon Stoddard has been very good. I got the silver toned over the ear hearing aids. I find them to be very comfortable and easy to clean and use. Battery life is not as good though as expected--only a few days. My girlfriend tells me to make sure I bring the hearing aids to events so that I can hear her. I would definitely recommend the hearing aids to anyone that has trouble beyond marginal hearing. I have not worn the hearing aids enough to get a real long term sense of how well they have performed.
This is my first shot at a 'real' hearing aid. I have tried a couple of the tv brands but threw both of them in the trash within a few minutes. I am an RN and have known for 20 years I needed some assistance. Ruptured my left eardrum twice. My husband kept saying I had to do something as he could not continue to watch tv with me any longer. So I broke down and did my research and finally ordered this model. So far it has been wonderful. Much easier to get used to than I thought and I can really hear better than I ever thought possible!! Oct 8, 2012 After a ton of resesrch and several e-mails to Jon at Century. After many people telling me Not to buy on line for several reasons, I decided to buy on-line from Century. I now have my Century Hearingaids for about 4 months . I could not be happier. It took a month or so to get use to them and the controls. Now however I am comfortable in most all situations. I no longer say HUH or ask my wife what she said. My wife can talk on the phone while I am watching tv without turning the tv down. The adjusting controls are a happy feature for me. At first I thought I wanted the hearing aids to be automatic, but Jon suggest the Primium Rosebud with volume control and enviroment control. He was so right. A recent wedding was atrue test. I've tried other more expensive aids and have found these to be great.I sit with others who have aids in noisy places and find them having more problems hearing than i do.I'm only getting about a week out of my batterys as i wear them from the time i get up until i go to bed.That seems much less than the max of 160 hrs.Really like my aids.

I give my hearing aids 4 1/2 to 5 stars. They work fine, every bit as well as the Siemens aids which I had previously. I much prefer the in-the-canal device. (The Siemens was behind the ear) The Century aid is far more secure and discreet. And the cost: one-third that of the Siemens.

This descries my situation perfectly. After wearing my Rosebuds I felt like they restored the top of the Sine Wave shaped sounds. I can hear water in the sink, birds in the trees, paper rustling and, get this, Velcro fasteners. And, I’d forgotten that my keyboard and mouse really had a click sound to them.
BTW, thank for the extra wax guards. I replaced it and I was off to the races. I even had to reduce the amplification because every sound my car mad was un-ignorable. I am very please with this purchase. It has helped me immensely. And, any fear of buying hearing aids on the net are dispelled by your rapid and concerned and caring service.
I bought the rosebud and was delivered in 4 days. after reading instructions and trying for the first time I noticed I could not turn it up more that 1/4th turn without feedback. I tried it on all settings but still could not turn it up to were I needed it. I called service and talked to Jon and right away he knew something wasn't right. He sent me another one with a prepaid envelope to send the first one back no questions asked, I got the replacement in 2 days. I followed the instructions just like I did with the first and to my amazement it worked great and fits great. NOW that is what I call service. I would recommend the rosebud and Century hearing aids to anybody. GREAT product and GREAT price.
I am a long time (8/10 years) customer of Century Hearing Aids and thought I might submit a brief note regarding your product(s) and service. It has been a couple of years since my last order and I thought I would submit a comment.
The product I currently use from your company is The Rosebud..it may have been updated since my last purchase in 2010 but I would guess it would be nothing dramatic. The purpose of this note is to tell you how satisfied I have been with this purchase and the service I received on the product when it was required .... I would rate both experiences as A+. While I have a $3,000 aid that I wear every day, I prefer the Rosebud product when I watch television. There is no question that the costlier device is more sophisticated and addresses problems that is not solved by wearing the Rosebud, but the Rosebud is much more comfortable (I use a head set) to wear while watching television and the amplification it provides is adequate.
While I do not anticipate any new purchase of this type of aid in the near future, you can rest assured that Century Hearing Aids will be the first company I contact.
Jon I am enjoying the hearing aids I purchased from you. I couldn't watch television before as the voices were barely audible. I use them at work...nobody seems to notice. I find that I am fine with just one ear...preferably the left ear... With the aid as I can then answer the phone with my right ear. Prices for a hearing aid in Canada are not affordable for a lot of people including myself. Your price is affordable. Thanks again. Best purchase I have made on line. I will see if someone can help me with the video. I do have the iPad but have never made a video with it.
Jon-- I too have tried the very expensive hearing aids and was not happy with the results. The trouble being the part that went over my ear interfered with my glasses. How are you? Hope u are doing good. I am from singapore, I bought the first pair of hearing aids from you for my husband. It cost me about SGD1000 for a pair of rose bud premium. I did not hear any complaint from him after trying out for almost 3months. He feedback the new aids performance is better and easier to use than his previous pair. The pricing you offered was afforable for lower income like us. We approached a few audiologists in singapore before, they fixed the price island wide. A pair of normal old model hearings aids without much functions can easily cost us SGD3000+. I was lucky to have found you through internet and I was really touched that your delivery covers asia regions too. I hope that more people get to know century hearing aids. I won't dare says your aids are the best and afforable because there might have other offers which we yet to discover. But I have faith in you to further improve yours aids and constantly review your pricings. I will give you a 4.1/2 stars. I hope you can keep achieving for the last half star!

Jon: I greatly appreciate the service and cooperativeness you and Century Hearing Aids have provided. My biggest problem is that they are just a little small and, as a result do not fit as firmly as they should-resulting in my having to frequently push them back in every few minutes. Since I am allergic to latex, I cannot wear any kind of adjusters. The end result is that I end up wearing them only in situations where I am desperate. I was unsure of the claims, but the price difference between locaL stores and Century's was too great not to try, plus they offered a money back guarantee. I couldn't resist! I ordered them and was more than satisfied! I now hear sounds never heard before! The high frequencies are crisp and clear. For me I am sorry I didn't get them sooner! My gal pal is also happier now as I am able to hear her speak, as she has a high pitched voice. Also one small problem occurred about battery life. I returned one that had the problem and soon it was returned good as new! I would highly recommend any one to give Jon a chance to prove his claims, you won't be sorry! Before I bought my Century Hearing Aids, I had seen an Audiologist and bought name brand hearing aids for more than five times the cost of the Rosebud hearing aids. I had troubles with volume adjustment, apparently they needed a return office visit for changes. One also failed in the first two weeks and the replacement was also defective. I returned them for a refund and bought an equivalent pair from Century Hearing Aids. They work well and are adjustable, comfortable and the batteries last 25% longer. I am completely satisfied with the product and the value.
I'll admit I was a little skeptical. How good can these things be when compared with the high-priced ears you get at the hearing aid store. And I had three major concerns. 1. The low price for the reason I just mentioned 2. The "one-size fits all" vs the "custom fit" at the hearing aid store 3. Feedback Addressing the last concern first, I bought a pair of ears a few years ago for about $4,000. Maybe a tad more. I now have a job where I have to wear a radio. The old units squealed and were unuseable so I stopped wearing them. Century says these cancel feedback and, guess what. They do. Not a peep, squeek, squak buzz. Voices come through my earphone clear as crystal. Ditto with the telephone. Second concern: One size. No problem. They slipped into my ears as easily as the $4,000 "custom fit" units did. Which prompts the cynic in me to wonder if making the impression to custom fit the unit is maybe just window dressing to justify the cost. I can't speak to the anatomy of your ears but they feel perfectly natural in mine. After a few seconds I'm not even aware they are there. First concern: low cost equals low quality? They seem as well made as my original $4,000 units and seem so work every bit as well. Except that they cancel the feedback which is a plus. And, they cost more than 25% less than the old units. Would I recommend them to a friend. Absolutely. Especially when they offer a 100% satisfaction money-back guarantee (which, fortunately I haven't had to test)How can you go wrong.
thanks to Century Hearing Aids, I could actually hear the waterfall from a distance. I like being able to adjust the volume and noise settings on the aids I bought. I work in a relatively noisy environment and find it more convenient than the previous VERY expensive devices that I used to wear. Also, when I'm watching TV, I'm able to control the settings to a level that makes it easier for me to hear. Sometimes now, my wife asks me to turn the volume up, which is a pleasent turn of events. The break-in period was a little uncomfortable at first,as I was used to smaller aids, but now I forget I have them sometimes. On a scale of 1-5, I would rate the aids I bought a 4.5. They are an excellent value, and I would definitely do business with Century Hearing Aids again.
The hearing aid didn't come with enough instructions and it took some internet work to find out certain thins relating to inserting batteries and the regrogrammed memory. It does reduce the ringing in my ear and speech is much easier to understand.

I am thrilled that I could eliminate the expensive middleman. But I really like the idea that I can program them to my liking and as I adjust to wearing them. It's weird to hear all the things that I do now. I was missing out on a lot.
Received new hearing aids today have them in , what a difference so much better in volume, watching the cubs opening game had to turn tv down from a 31(no hearing aid) to a 17 with the new hearing aids, also so much more comfortable ... Time will tell but a happy camper right now... Husband not home when they arrived so I will not say a word going to see if he sees them or notices how low the tv is
Jon, Finally got my hearing aids. I had to leave town before the hearing aids arrived. My wife brought them up this weekend. They are fantastic. I hear so much better that it scares me, almost. On all levels they are a little loud or it is just me hearing so much. My newest laptop has Windows 8. Qfit won't work on this laptop with windows 8. A lot of things don't work on windows 8! I will have my good computer in a couple of weeks. Until then I have a temporary fix(I put a little paper towel in the holder then slide in the unit). Helps keep the unit clean also. Two weeks will give me time to get used to hearing EVERYTHING. I will keep you updated. These hearing aids are exactly what I wanted and needed. Thank You so much!!!

Just recently my deaf left ear has been diagnosed to be severe. My left ear is completely deaf since I was a little kid! After the diagnosis, I purchased ExSilent Qleaf Pro Digital Hearing Aid and I begin to hear sounds again in my left ear! The good thing is, even I took off my Qleaf Pro, I am beginning to hear things already!
Hi Jon, My Qleaf Pro is wonderful...I do want more of the silicon fitting ( large and xlarge). Also, I couldn't find my email about my purchase for my right ear....it just doesn't cut it...my hearing is just too far gone. I'd like to have it programed for my left ear based on my audiogram you should have on file. I tried wearing it in the left and it is too distorted...I think I had requested when I purchased it to program the max on all of it...definitely not good for the left. But I do want it as a backup , just so I can hear. Please let me know what I have to do for the reprograming, wish I could get it done here, but know that's not possible. I have had the exsilent qleaf pro aids for several months now. I am very pleased with them. Being able to program them myself is a huge advantage over all other aids. You can set them so they don't irritate you. You can also turn on or off various beeps and other functions. The feedback canceler works pretty good. Five stars!
I put these aid in and "WOW". I wondered what that beeping was. It was a security system that detected a stray cat. The receiver was downstairs in the family room. It was as if it was in the room with me. For some reason, these aids seem so much better than the bte aids that I bought from you last. I have no fear of them falling off since they are "pressed" into my small ear canals. I expected a much more occluded sound. I'm very impressed but of course it has only been an hour of use. I hope to leave feedback that can be helpful to others. I am amazed at your service and personal touch and feel badly for those who paid a lot more.

Very satisfied with Century. I purchased from Century because of your 60 day satisfaction policy and your personal service. Much better than others I have used. Jon reprogrammed the aids to my requirements on the first try.
I have small to very small ear canals so the aids do not fit completely in my ear canals but they are still the best I have found and the price was right. The aids are much better for me than BTE. I am outdoors a lot and the aids are much less affected by the wind. I can wear wide brimmed hats without feedback also.
I have been experimenting with several sets of hearing aids since September, and am happy to report that the QLeaf Pro aid, which I received from you on Thursday, is far better than the more expensive aids that I have tried and returned.
My Dad used them Christmas day and was able to completely follow conversations, even as things got noisy with many relatives over.
I did one more fine tuning session on Tue 12/18/2012 making it about 6 times since they were shipped. Each time based on anecdotal descriptions of what sounded correct or wrong. It makes having the programming equipment for the end user a must have. Realistically the person needs to be computer savvy or have someone who is helping them otherwise they might as well goto an audiologist. I think that would be true of any modern hearing aid. Which I believe should be within the users control.
Now keep in mind I think there are allot of tech savvy people out there. Anyone into hobbies, do it your selfer's, geeks, etc. Especially the younger boomers and soon to be Gen X'ers.
The big improvements will be when wireless programming is available even it requires some type of relay device that has to hang over the wearers neck that might amplify weak RF to Blue Tooth and then to the PC or Mac. As low power blue tooth becomes wider spread then perhaps devices that could do direct blue tooth programming.
One of the things I said to my Dad and he agreed is that if newer technology comes out a year or two years from now the hearing aids were priced reasonably to make buying the next generation affordable and you and your company have our respect and trust.
Not a lot to complain about. Its a nice solution. I did not have to break the bank. My wife is happy and she works in the hearing industry. Not a lot of negatives... it is small for my fat fingers. But I am very pleased. Thank you very much
This is a wonderful product but my first one was defective. Jon was extremely easy to work with and went well beyond what I would have expected him to do. I am sure I drove him crazy with all of my calls but he was always great to talk to. The aid only took about a week to get comfortable then I would forget I had it in. Don't get discouraged if the first few days are hard to focus with it in. About a month after receiving my aid I lost it while traveling. If I would have been wearing it at the time it would have been fine but I don't fly with them in and I misplaced the case and aid. I will definitely order again and I will only order from Jon because he is the best. Thanks for great service and a great product.

This is my first experience with hearing aids. I tried the lyric for a weak and it was awful. It was $1700 a year and you don't own it. And it does not come out of your ear, that cannot be sanitary. I like the fact that this qleaf you can take it out of your ear..gives your ear a break.
The only complaint I have is that I am afraid to loose it. Its so damn small. You have a hell of a unit here. You have a winner. $800 is a fair price to pay. Most of the stuff out there does not work. The sample was a great idea.
I received these a couple of months ago, and initially was impressed that I could overhear conversations at the four tables around me in a restaurant - something I haven't been able to do in years. I did find, that I initially had trouble with them in other noisy work conditions. I also found that performance degrades with battery wear faster than with my old BTE (behind the ear) hearing aids, which used a larger battery. BUT - let me say this - what a pleasure not having that old visible lump over my ear and in the way of my glasses, hair, etc. These are quite invisible, comfortable, and I can hear quite well with them. Jon was kind enough to help me with additional fitting assistance, and by tweaking their settings, I am now very happy with them. They take some getting used to, but I wear them all the time now. I've had other CIC instruments, and these are easily the best for the price.
Hi Jon, Just getting back to you with a little more information regarding my hearing aid purchase from you about 6 months ago. As you may recall, my hearing loss is quite significant, so I was a bit concerned when I first got the aid from you that the volume was not going to be sufficient for my needs. However, after you made adjustments to the programming , I was quite pleasantly surprised to find myself hearing sounds that I have not heard for many years. The sounds are those in the mid range or upper mid range frequencies. My order aids focused mostly on the lower frequencies, and although the volume seemed to be greater, I was missing the midrange and upper mid range frequencies that includes many of the day today sounds that I have not been able to hear.
I have also been very pleased with the repairs on my old aid, which has worked well in combination with the new one.

AS for my review, color me glad for your Century product at a good price. I doubt if any other vendor would have less challenge for effective set up, and your service after purchase is great.

After many years of living with hearing loss I underwent a hearing test and my audiogram showed a profound loss in the higher frequencies, When the nice lady told me the price of here name brand aid I decided to check around on the web. That is when I found the Rosebud SP for less than half the price. I mailed a copy of my test results and a Jon Stoddard of Centuryhearingaids.com contacted me and said that the SP could be programmed to help with my loss. So knowing that I could send it back for a full refund if for any reason I was not happy with the aid I decided to take the chance. My experience has been quite plesent. I find that the Comply snap tip is very comfortable and I have experienced virtually no feedback unlike the open fit ear bud of a previous aid that I tried. One of the first things I found was that yes the microwave does indeed make a sound when the food is done. But I am finding that is only one of the many sounds that I have not been hearing for a good number of years. I still struggle a little bit with some of my favorite TV shows but I also know that I DO have a profound hearing loss and no hearing aid is going to repair that. So I guess the bottom line is give the SP a try, you have a lot to gain and very little to lose if you find it doesn't do the job for your personal hearing loss.
Just a note to let you know how the Rosebud SP B.T.E that I bought from you in June of 2010 is working out for me. I, at first was a little concerned because your unit was much lower in price than any aid of the same type that I could get in my home town. My concerns were soon put to rest. I find the Comply soft tips to be very comfortable even more so than the aid I tried of the open fit type. Also l find that size 13 batteries last for many more wears than the smaller batteries of my old aid. I have not had any feedback at all with this unit. How nice that is. At times I think that a more pliable tube would be a very good improvement. I can't say enough about how pleased I am with your personal and friendly service. Best of all my wife and I can now watch TV and not drive her out of the room so she thanks you too.
Was drawn to another product that turned out to cost $7,000.00 and was in-ear. Could not afford. Later, it was discounted to me at $4,000. Went for perhaps 7 lab adjustments and fine tuning. Finally asked for my money back because I was assaulted by tinny, noisy sound and began speaking so quietly I was causing hearing problems in others. I have extreme hearing loss but I can hear comfortably now and believe I am getting the best possible results available at an exceptional price.
My SeniorAdvantage program thur Medicare allows me $1,000 every 3 years for a new hearing aid.My last hearing test indicatedc a change of aids to one that can handle "profound" hearing loss.My health plan audiologist suggested two aidsw costing a total of $3,600.Even with my Medicare allowance this would have cost me over $2,500.Century Hearing Aid reviewed my testr and recommended the Rosebud SP behind the ear units.I ordered and the first shipment was not to my satsifaction since it appears that their quality control was not being utilize.one unit was made in 2009 and could have been a "recycled" unit.I called Jon and within 6 days I had two brand new units programmed sent to meet my hearing loss needs. Both units are working perfectly to date. The service was excellent but this small company needs to do a little improvement in their quality control. For this reason I give them 4 stars.
My Rosebud hearing aid are the one that have helped my severe hearing problem without spending a fortune - over $3000+ - I will recommend any one with severe hearing to try them before you try anything else. The only "downside" if I have to point to one, is the large size of the unit. For people with small ears that need to wear glasses (like me) they tend to fall-off if you are not careful in adjusting them properly to your ears. My suggestion: adjust them to your ears first and then wear you glasses outside the unit , this could protect them from falling -off.
Overall, I would say that I got a good deal for the money spent. I do have a bit of a problem controlling feedback but that is not an issue for me that would really make or break the sale. I don't want to nit pick but it would also be nice to have a warning beep before the batteries stop working. Sometimes, they can shut off at the most inappropriate times. But, I would definitely invest in this product again or even a higher priced unit. It certainly fit my budget!
I like the thing fine. its american made. I like that the best. my family is all in blue grass and I really like it. works really well. I really like it because I can get into vehicle and it does not sound like a tornado. My cousin ordered 2 and they like it. she says she can hear the birds sing. I sometimes hear whispers now. I can use some more of the tips. I'll probably keep the things. it does pretty good and I do not have to go around hollerin and stuff.

At age 100 I was reluctant to replace my hearing aid until I read about the features of the Rosebud SP and the unbelieveable price. I am delighted with the ability to change volume, adjust for environment and mostly the music setting with which I am still able to continue critical tuning of a concert grand piano. Hi Jon: No doubt I can hear better with these aids, better than I could hear with some I tried that cost three times as much. I would rate them a 3.5. I have trouble finding the volume wheel and they are too shrill at times. But yes, I can hear better with them. Marv
I found this website during a web search for the best hearing device for my 84 year old grandfather. He broke his old device, which was an old generation analog Siemens device, and due to his advanced Parkinsons, he was simply not able to go to doctor´s appointments necessary to order a new device the traditional route. When I found out it was possible to purchase a state-of-the-art device directly without any doctor visits, I decided to go for it. Besides, the price offered here would only buy us a very basic Siemens model the traditional way.
So we ordered the device, and once it arrived, we assembled it with the attached ear tubes and ear tips. When my grandfather first wore the device, he said he could not really hear anything, and the device was make horrible noises. I was devastated at first, but after a couple of experiments, we figured out the problem was with the ear tips. They were simply too small for his (very large) ears. Once we connected the device to his old custom made ear mold, my grandfather could suddenly hear us clearly. After a few days he got used to the new digital device, which I think feels a little different from analog devices, he said it was the best device he had ever had. We were able to have conversations with him again, which was wonderful. So thank you, CenturyHearingAids!
I had been wearing in the ear hearing aids for years. Recently, I needed an upgrade . I felt that an in the ear aid was not adequate for my hearing loss. My long term vendor told me that the aids I needed would cost me $8000. I could not afford that. I went to the internet and searched many brands and vendors.
Century provided, in my estimation, the best combination of type of hearing aid and price. I bought the Rosebud SP Premium hearing aids.
It took me a while to adjust to the BTE model but with help from Jon Stoddard at Century, I was able to adjust to the physical aspects of wearing a BTE. But there was still something that was not quite right about them. Conversations with Jon led me to get a new hearing test at an independent audiologist, (not my previous vendor). The results were quite different from the audiogram I had originally sent to Century.
Jon had me send back the aids to be re-tuned. Since then, I have been hearing significantly better than I have for years.
I am now going to test using an ear mold to, I trust, improve, even more, my hearing. I have been using the Canal Comply tips with good success to date.
